BACK VINTAGE - 2015 Black MonsterMade from single vineyard Donnybrook Malbec, a small production wine and Lamont’s flagship red.A deep burgundy black with typical magenta rim, aromatics of dark plum and blackberry. This wine spent 18 months in new and one-year old French oak barriques prior to bottling. The natural acidity provides the backbone around which the generous fruit and well married oak linger to give heighten flavours on the late palate.  As yet youthful, the wine is dense, velvety and drying, showing great cellaring potential.Alc/Vol 14.0%Drink now or cellar in the long term. ‘Have a monster meal of roasted & braised lamb shanks with rosemary & roasted duck fat potatoes!
