2021 White Monster
$45.00
2021 White Monster
Hand picked fruit sourced from Pemberton. The wine completed full malolactic fermentation with batonage and lees stirring in barrel. Malolactic fermentation enables the wine to be richly flavoured and provides great texture, mouthfeel and complexity. The wine was fermented in new French oak, using both puncheons and barriques. Following fermentation, the wine was returned to oak for a further 6 months maturation prior to bottling just before Christmas 2021.
Nose – fine and precise, displaying strong peach overtones with generous middle palate and showing a touch of lingering acid to sustain the finish.
