Kate Lamont, one of Western Australia’s most successful chefs, best-selling cookbook author and active food and tourism industry adviso, has been overseeing heritage listed Bishop’s House as an a la carte restaurant, wedding, functions and private dining venue for almost a decade.

With more than three decades of experience in the wine, food and tourism industries in Western Australia, Kate has overseen the development of her family’s initial small business to become an integrated food and wine group with 80+ employees.

As one of Western Australia’s best known chefs, Kate Lamont has written 4 cook books with sales in excess of twenty five thousand and has contributed to various books, magazines and newspapers including The Weekend Australian and The West Australian. She is an occasional guest presenter on ABC local radio Perth. Kate is experienced in developing new, relevant and desirable products that attract new customers as well as keep existing users satisfied, advocating and spending.
